Chef Dammy, also known as Damilola Adeparusi, has become a hot topic of conversation online due to her extensive cooking marathon in Oye-Ekiti. Currently, she has been cooking for a remarkable 104 hours and continues to do so.

A video shared on Instagram by Spirit Word Global Mission captures the moment when Dammy surpassed the 100-hour mark.

However, this cookathon has been marred by controversies and criticisms ever since it began on Friday, June 9.

Some individuals have accused Chef Dammy of depriving 27-year-old Chef Hilda Baci from Akwa Ibom of enjoying her accomplishment of breaking the Guinness World Record. In May 2023, Hilda Baci made headlines by cooking non-stop for 100 hours and 40 minutes, setting a new individual record.

Despite facing these criticisms, Chef Dammy remains resolute in her determination to continue cooking in the kitchen for a total of 120 hours.
