No point in working hard if you don’t make it in life – Singer Burnaboy discloses (Video)
Burnaboy, the Grammy Award-winning artist whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, recently sparked a variety of responses on social media with a thought-provoking statement in a video.
During an Instagram live session with his main crew, Burnaboy expressed his views on individuals who work tirelessly but fail to achieve success.
According to Burnaboy, putting in a great deal of effort is futile if one does not succeed in life. He emphasized that without tangible evidence of success, it becomes challenging to justify the hard work invested.
Expanding on his perspective, Burnaboy, who recently performed at the UEFA Champions League final, mentioned that people would need to exert extensive effort in explaining their endeavors.
He further stated that this very reason motivates him to work diligently in life, aiming to establish records and make history so that his achievements can speak for themselves, without the need for excessive explanation.
Burnaboy shared, “In this life, if you don’t make it, there’s no evidence to show that you tried your best. You’ll find yourself exhausted, trying to explain, but without evidence of your utmost effort, how can people believe you?”

fecentricco: No lies 😂😂😂😂.
shaelizade_: I can’t argue that! Result is what gives you audience. When you struggle so much and barely even eat a day’s meal, if you don’t make it, trying to narrate how you slept on the street and had no one to give you an print opportunity, you’re viewed as an epitome of excuse for laziness. Moreover, when you make it, people will empathise with you and affirm that yeah, you truly suffered. That’s when they will give you audience and your complaints will make sense. That’s how life works. You’re only hailed a Victor after winning battles!
roz_p1472: A quick reminder ⚠️ 1 Samuel 2:6-9 📖 The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
