I ran away from our $60million house to sleep in my friend’s studio – Davido (Video)

In a recent statement, superstar Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido revealed how he ran away from his dad’s $60M house to sleep in his friend’s studio.

Davido the “Unavailable” hitmaker made this known during an interview on the Real 92.3FM, a commercial urban contemporary radio station licensed to Los Angeles, California in the U.S.A.

Speaking about his passion for music, Davdo utters that he left their luxury house of a whooping $60M to stay at a studio recording music and sweating profusely.

According to Davido, most of his colleagues at the studio used to give him bombastic side eyes for doing so but he knows what he’s doing adding that if he enters the house, the gate would be locked for that day and there won’t be access to the outside any longer.

Davido added that there was a time his dad sent policemen to a friend’s house and they issued them a stern warning that when next they accommodated him, they will all be arrested.

He also speaks about people not wanting to accept him in the music industry during his upcoming days because he doesn’t have the grass to grace story.

Clearing the air further, Davido said that Fela Kuti is the real originator of Afrobeat.
