Hotel staff Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary finally receives $10k from Davido, shows off wads of cash (Video)
In a recent video, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, an employee of Eko Hotel and Suites, could be seen brimming with excitement as she received a generous gift from singer Davido. The gift amounted to $10,000 (equivalent to N8.6 million).
The video, which has been circulating online, captured the moment when Mary openly revealed the $10,000 bill after taking it out of the envelope. This gesture made it evident to everyone that Davido had indeed fulfilled his promise to her.
It’s worth noting that Mary became the subject of widespread discussion on the internet after she discovered a bag containing an impressive sum of $70,000 (equivalent to N60 million) at the hotel. Demonstrating her integrity and commitment to honesty, she immediately reported the incident to the hotel management.
In response to her extraordinary act of honesty, the hotel’s General Manager swiftly initiated the process of returning the money to its rightful owner, adhering to the establishment’s policy of maintaining integrity and transparency.
When Davido learned about this exceptional display of integrity, he expressed his admiration and appreciation for Mary on his social media page.
In a tweet on July 23rd, Davido promised to donate $10k (N8.6M) to the staff of Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, who returned misplaced $70,000 (N60M) to a customer in Lagos.
However, the hotel staff Mary in the video flaunts the $10,000 hard currency given to him by Davido and she was also spotted with her friends as they counted the money. She further prays for Davido that his music will continued to be heard all over the world including in Mars, Pluto among others.
