Davido Celebrates His Personal Police Escort Who Just Got Promoted to Inspector
David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, a prominent Nigerian singer and music executive, recently expressed his congratulations to his personal police security officer on his recent promotion. The security officer, commonly referred to as Bawo, is a member of the Nigeria Police Force and has been promoted to the rank of Inspector.
In an announcement made by the Nigeria Police on Friday, it was disclosed that the Police Service Commission had approved the promotion of over 90 officers to higher positions within the force.
Davido took it upon himself to further acknowledge Bawo’s achievement by presenting him with a new badge and commending his accomplishments. A video circulating online captures the moment when Davido ceremoniously attaches the new badge to Bawo’s bulletproof vest.
“Congratulations on your promotion to Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force,” Davido said while pinning it on his vest.
On his part, Bawo took to his IG page and wrote; “Thank you my Good Boss @davido for the decoration of my new rank. For the love you’ve always been showing me I can’t pay you but I pledge to be faithful, LOYAL and honest. May God keep protecting and blessing you for us, Amen”
