BBNaija 8: Why I refused to join the All-Star edition – Tacha finally reveals
Former BBNaija 2019 ex-housemate, Tacha, recently took to her social media to explain her decision not to participate in the highly anticipated “All-Star” edition of the reality show.
The much-awaited BBNaija Season 8, tagged “All Star,” was officially launched on July 23rd, 2023, with the media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, welcoming 20 housemates to the show.
The “All Stars” edition features carefully selected housemates and fan favorites from previous seasons of the show, spanning from 2017 (See Gobe) to 2022 (Level Up), including popular editions like 2018 (Double Wahala), 2019 (Pepper Dem), 2020 (Lockdown), and 2021 (Shine Ya Eye).
Among the 20 housemates are familiar names such as CeeC, Kiddwaya, Doyin, Frodd, Uriel, Pere, Princess (Double Wahala), Soma, Angel, Neo, Alex Unusual, Seyi Awolowo, Ilebaye, Ike, Venita, Adekunle, Tolanibaj, Cross, Mercy Eke, and Whitemoney.
However, when questioned by her fellow housemate, Mike Edwards, about her absence from the show, Tacha confirmed that she was approached by BBNaija but ultimately decided not to participate due to dissatisfaction with the compensation offered to her for joining the show.
It all started when Toke Makinwa tweeted; “Who do you think should have been added to the all-stars line up? What are your thoughts? #BBNaijaAllStars.”
Responding, Mike the BBNaija 2019 runner up said; “Tacha tacha tacha.”
Reacting to Mike comment, Tacha tweeted;
“Dem no won pay money nau! Price went up.”
