Agnes Monica was born in Jakarta, July 1 1986 to Ricky Suprapto and Jenny Siswono. Agnes has one older brother named Steve Muljoto. Since Agnes became an artist with such a busy schedule, her older sister has always accompanied her by becoming her manager.

Agnes attended elementary school at SD Tarakanita Jakarta. Agnes She attended various courses since she was in elementary school, such as singing, piano and English courses. After completing her elementary school education, Agnes continued her studies at Pelita Harapan Jakarta Middle School. Agnes is a student who has outstanding achievements in the academic field. This often makes him receive many scholarships. Graduating from Pelita Harapan Middle School, Agnes completed her education at a school that is still the same foundation as her junior high school, namely Pelita Harapan High School. Agnes is someone who cares about education. Evidently, after graduating from Pelita Harapan High School, amidst her increasingly busy schedule, Agnes still wanted to experience college by taking law education at Pelita Harapan University (UPH).

At the beginning of her career, Agnes was known as a child artist. As a child singer, he has three albums, namely “Si Meong” (1992), “Yess!” (1995) and “Bala Bala” (1996). The second album “Yess!” won the award for “Best Children’s Album” in 1999.
Agnes also took advantage of her fame as a child singer by concurrently serving as a children’s program presenter. Call it “Tralala-Trilili”, “VAN (Video Anak Anteve)” and “Diva Romeo”. September 2011, Agnes was invited by Michael Bolton as her duet partner for the song “Said I Loved You… But I Lied”.
